What time should I arrive?

Plan to arrive about 10 minutes before 11:45 AM. That gives us a chance to greet you, hand you a bulletin, and help you find a seat before worship begins.

What should I bring?

If you have a Bible you like, feel free to bring it — it helps to follow along with the Scripture readings. But don't worry if you don't; we have Bibles available in the pews. There's nothing else you need to bring, other than a willingness to worship.

How long is the service?

Our Sunday morning worship service typically lasts about 75 minutes.

How should I dress?

The word of God says "modestly and discreetly" (1 Tim. 2:9), and this is the only requirement.

Do you have children's church?

Accepted Answer

Although we do provide a nursery for young children, one of our top priorities at Redeemer is to "turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers" (Malachi 4:6), and to build that spiritual bond between parents and children which will last forever. We have parents and children worship together, and we do not have separate worship for children (Deut. 31:12). We do have separate Sunday School teaching for children twelve and under.

Do you have Sunday School?

Yes. Sunday School for children (twelve and under) and adults meets at 10:45 AM, before the morning worship service. During the summer, we hold a Prayer Meeting at 11:15 AM in its place. Check the bulletin or our calendar for current details.

Question 7

Can I partake of the Lord's Supper?

Accepted Answer

The Lord's Supper is celebrated on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. It is open to all baptized Christians who have made a credible profession of faith in Jesus Christ and are members in good standing of a faithful Christian church. If you are still exploring the faith or are not yet a professing, baptized member of a Christian church, you are warmly welcomed to observe and use that time for reflection and prayer.

Do you have fellowship dinners?

Yes! We have a fellowship dinner following morning worship on the second Sunday of each month, and you are warmly invited. It's a wonderful opportunity to linger, share a meal, and get to know the community.

Will I feel pressured to give?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. The offering is primarily for those who have committed themselves to the Redeemer Radford family. Visitors are welcome to participate in all elements of worship, but are never expected or pressured to give.
